Conducted a major tour for unemployed and underemployed Americans with his free seminars in cities including Raleigh,Charlotte,Atlanta,Columbia and Charleston.Andy Thomas is the former manager of a staffing agency owned by Goodwill Industries of Lower South Carolinaand developed his current seminar series while conducting counseling and presentations within that non profit environment. His 2010 tour enabled him to work with the unemployed at street level in over 9 cities and 18 seminars. Andy Thomas’s background also includes over 30 years of radio and TV broadcasting experience. His former radio talk show aired on many stations in South Carolina and parts of Georgia and North Carolina. Andy is currently underway with his major college tour and obviously excited about getting his book to those eager for his advice.
Denise K. James is a writer and educator living in Charleston, SC. She holds a B.A. in English from Coastal Carolina University, as well as an M.A. in English from the College of Charleston. She currently teaches English classes at ECPI Technical College, in addition to contributing regularly to publications like The Charleston City Paper, Charleston Style & Design, and The Charleston Scene. She is also a contributing editor to Pluff Mud Magazine, an online journal of the literary arts. In her spare time she enjoys dabbling in poetry, philosophy and budget-friendly fashion.
